  1. What is the most optimal internet connection to use trading platform?  
    We highly recommend our customers to use broadband connection to enjoy a more reliable and faster connection.

  2. How can I be sure my account and personal data are securely sent through SHK e-Futures Trading Platform?  
    We understand the importance of security over the internet environment. The following security measures have been employed to ensure a high level of security is in place to protect your data:

a) Firewall
Firewall is a system designed to protect the resources of a private network from users from other networks. It is used to prevent unauthorized Internet users from accessing your information within our SHK private networks connected to the Internet;

b) 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption
SHK uses the latest encryption technology (128-bit encryption), the highest level of encryption commercially available used by most banks, to ensure that all data sent to and from our site is encrypted to protect your personal and financial information;

c) Password authentication
Login ID and password must be entered to authenticate your identity every time you login to our SHK e-Futures Trading Platform. A separate trading password is also required upon placing of trading orders;

d) System idling session
If e-Futures Trading Platform is left idle for more than 30 minutes, the system will require you to re-login to prevent any unauthorized usage of your account.

  3. Do you have any suggestion on how to avoid unauthorized access to my trading account?  
   
DO change your login password and trading password periodically;
DO adopt password that is easy to remember but difficult for anyone else to guess;
DO logout properly from your trading account after you have completed trading online;
DO NOT disclose your password to anyone or allow anyone else to use your password;
DO NOT leave your online trading page unattended, other people may easily obtain your account information from the computer screen; and
DO NOT use your birth dates, telephone numbers, I.D. card numbers or similar numbers as your password.

  4. Why I can just see a grey screen after I logged in the trading platform?  
    The e-Futures trading platform requires your Internet Explorer browser to install Sun Java Virtual Machine or Microsoft Virtual Machine (i.e. Microsoft VM).

  5. I can access your site from my home computer but not from my office, what can I do?  
    You can try to download the Sun Java Virtual Machine. Please click here to download and run the software.

After access to e-Futures Trading Platform, the below message may pop-up.


After press "OK"


Enter your company IP address and Port, and then press "Connect".

How to get your company IP address and port:
At the top of Internet Explorer browser: Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN settings -> Proxy Server, you will see the Address and Port.



If your computer problem cannot be solved by the above settings, your office computer network is behind a firewall, which prevents certain sites to be accessed. Therefore, you need to ask your IT department to add our website to your company's list of accessible websites.
